last night in Prescott AZ hundreds of high school students sang the words “Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe, sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow” and “praise the one who paid my debt and raised this life us from the dead”. We walked through some of the most profound verses in the Bible like Ephesians 2:1-4, Romans 5:6-8, 2 Corinthians 5:21. These are verses worth reading every day.

Randy and I are in AZ with some guys from our worship teams doing a week of camp for high school students. Its always lots of fun to take what we do at Flatirons, on the road so to speak. So far we’ve talked about the difference between empty religion and true worship (James 1:27) and how we are all lost and broken both religious and non-religious alike. Its amazing to watch both the discomfort a message like this causes, and the freedom and joy it brings all at the same time, in different hearts. You can be praying for our team while we are down here that God will use us to draw high school students to Him.
