FCC Policy on Confidential Communications
No communications with or within FCC are confidential unless they occur in a pastoral care appointment.  A pastoral care appointment is defined as a face to face meeting at FCC with pastoral care staff.  Notwithstanding FCC’s policy on the confidentiality of communications that occur in a pastoral care appointment, any communication indicative of victimization, abuse or commission of a crime will not be maintained by FCC as confidential.  Communications suggesting victimization, abuse, or commission of a crime whether they occur in a pastoral care appointment or elsewhere, shall not be maintained by FCC as confidential.  The Church will comply with all Colorado laws governing the reporting of information to law enforcement authorities.
