Loser

Loser

Much of life is measured by wins and losses. We pursue wins and avoid losses in all areas of life: financially, socially, in sports, and in classrooms. The reality of life is that there are winners and losers, but in and through Jesus even when we lose there is a lot to be won. Paul’s letter to the Philippians is written from the perspective of one of the world’s biggest “losers”.

Free

When Paul traveled through regions like Galatia, the message was always the same: Jesus has done for you what you have never been able to do for yourself. Through Jesus you can be set free, you don't have to carry the heavy weight of spiritual expectations anymore. Yet people, much like us, were still tempted to try.
