Flatirons Community Church is dedicated to providing an excellent, energetic, passionate and authentic experience for everyone who walks through the doors. Because music is such a huge part of our culture we choose songs that speak the language of the world we live in. Tune your radio to almost any station and you’re bound to hear a song that you heard at Flatirons.
One of our core values at flatirons goes like this: we aim to create a safe, excellent environment for people to—in their search for grace and truth—"bump into Jesus." Then, after getting to know Him for who He really is, they can work out whatever it is that needs to be worked out. This album is the result of our "searching and bumping into Jesus" experience; an expression of how we have come to know Him — Jesus — better.

"Come and See" was born out of a sense of urgency. Urgency to spread the
fame and renown of the God we worship. Urgency to give people a way to
engage with our God through the songs we sing on the weekends while they are
in their cars, running on treadmills and sitting in their kitchens. Urgency
to express the way we worship in a way that other who haven't been a part of
a flatirons worship experience could at least get a taste of what it's like.
Most of all though, this album became an expression of our desire to worship
in a way that James 1:27 describes as "pure and faultless". That worship is
taking care of the poor, the oppressed and the helpless.
So at every turn this album of us "singing songs" has been accompanied by
not only directing our thoughts and prayers to the widows and orphans of our
world, but our hands, feet, time, resources and finances, as well. Our hope
is that as you listen to the songs you will be challenged to do the same.
