is the ministry for college-age young adults (age 18-24) at Flatirons Community Church. Be part of the movement of college-age people all over the front range who merge on Saturday night at 6:45pm for Flatiron's worship and teaching service.

Merge Interns are a very valuable part of the College Ministry and Flatirons Community Church. As an intern, you will be a member of our college team and a part of our Flatirons staff. In addition, you will have training opportunities, experience on the job coaching, and have the opportunity lead and develop multiple ministry projects. As such, potential interns are taken through a substantial application and interview process. Selection is based on maturity, stage of life, ministry experience, commitment, motivation, goals, background, and if the applicant will work well with the staff team.
Details
- 12 Months of Real Ministry Experience
- 50+ Hours Weekly: Major Role (36 hours), Minor Role (8 hours), Training/Development (8 hours)
- Paid Position – Based on amount fundraised (once budget proposal is approved).
We accept applicants who have recently obtained a college degree or have received professional experience AND are called to vocational ministry. We prefer applicants to have prior ministry experience and require a heart for learning and leading.
Application Deadlines
- February 29 to begin internship July 1
- March 31 to begin internship September 1
- July 31 to begin internship December 1
- December 31 to begin internship April 1
The application process will take 4-6 months to complete.

- Submit your Application and two Reference Sheets (one Personal Reference, one Spiritual Reference)
- We check with your references.
- We invite you in for an interview with Merge Staff.
- Interview with Merge Pastor.
- Interview with your Minor Role team leader.
- Interview with Flatirons Executive Staff.
- We contact you of acceptance.
- Applicant turns in Budget Proposal.
- You raise 80% of funds before beginning.
- Begin Internship and move into provided housing.

Have you ever asked yourself, "what does it mean to follow Jesus"? Or "what does that even look like, and am I doing it"? Twelve is an intentional exploration of 12 topics that help define what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
One of the most defining times in the life of a follower of Jesus is the intentional, dedicated effort to study truth through God’s Word, wrestling with it by thinking about it, talking with God and others about it, and finally, by actually doing something about it. As we connect with Truth at these different levels, it gives God an opportunity to grow us spiritually and change us from the inside out bringing us closer to Him and showing us a better way to live this life.
That’s what this resource is all about. Learning from each other how to better follow Jesus.
