AIM Soul Care Team

Trip dates: April 15-24
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Trip leaders: Anthony and Merry Shepard
Trip Details:
INTENTION: The intention of this trip is to facilitate a retreat for AIM’s Restoration Program staff. The retreat is
intended to hold space for AIM’s staff team that allows renewal spiritually, mentally and physically through rest and
time with God, and build stronger connections through interactive activities.
WHO: This will be a hand selected group of people who are strong in relationship building and care of others. We’re
specifically looking for those with spiritual direction training, mental health backgrounds and significant vocational
ministry experience who can facilitate spiritual discernment activities and conversations, sit with others in processing
and prayer, and have a high level of spiritual maturity to hold space while Jesus meets us. This is a very specific and
unique skillset, and all applicants will be vetted with intention and depth.
COMMIT: If selected, team members make a commitment to attend all required team meetings (listed below) and to
meet the trip fundraising goal by the DEPART Meeting date. Failure to attend any of these meetings will result in no
longer being eligible for the trip.
