“Professional Scientitions” Dr. Cray and Dr. Shawn, with the help of Grandma, help kids discover the “secrets of the universe,” and see that God made all things; not one thing was made without him. Kids will see how God created things, what his favorite creation is, what it means that he rested one day, and that God had a plan to fix our mistakes.

1. Who were the first two people God made? (Adam and Eve.)
2. Adam and Eve made a big mistake. Does anyone know what that mistake was? (They didn’t trust/obey God. They ate from the tree he told them not to.)
3. That mistake separated people from God. The good news is that God loves us so much he had a plan to redeem or save us. What was his plan? (Send Jesus to save us.)
4. How do you feel when you make a mistake? (Take responses.)
5. When we mess up, there are still consequences. Like if I cheat or lie, I get in trouble. Or if I call someone a mean name, their heart – and probably mine too – will hurt. Those are called consequences. We can still have consequences even though Jesus forgives us. But the consequence Grandma talked about – separation from God – was taken care of by Jesus. So what can we do when we make a mistake? (Pray and ask God for forgiveness.)
