Life In Abundance South Sudan Medical Trip
This trip is focused on developing relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun working alongside LIA’s network of medical staff and community leaders, in addition to members of a short-term team.

WHO: This trip is open to all individuals with a strong level of personal and spiritual maturity, international travel experience in extreme environments and a demonstrated openness to considering the implications and differences in cross-cultural medicine. Those with an active certification (must be able to provide a copy of valid certification/license) in general/family practice, trauma/emergency/field medicine, maternal/female health, pediatrics, and eye specialists are encouraged to apply. In addition to medical expertise, participants should come with a curiosity to learn about who LIA is and how they partner with local communities, feel strongly about encouraging the role local community leaders play, have a willingness to be led by field staff, a heart to teach but also to learn, have a passion to discover what third-world medicine might have to teach Western medicine, and a strong desire to exemplify Jesus in all they do.
