God’s prophet Elijah showed his people that only God could really take care of them. Even when they began worshiping false gods, and were starving in a drought, God came through. This four-part series will show kids that God is all we need to take care of us, too.

- Why did Elijah run away? (Queen Jezebel was going to kill him.)
- How did God show up and talk to Elijah? (not in the windstorm, earthquake or fire, but in a whisper)
- What was your favorite story of Elijah this month? Remember, we saw God send ravens to feed him, supply flour and oil for the widow, bring a son back to life, send fire to the altar on the mountain, and speak to Elijah through a whisper. (Have kids tell you about their favorite story.)
- God took care of Elijah. Does God ever not take care of us? What about when we ask for something and we don’t get it? (Discuss how God knows what’s best and what we need, rather than just giving us what we want.)
