  1. Pastor Ben mentioned that people often compare themselves to the flawless heroes they see in movies, leading them to feel disqualified as spiritual warriors. What are some common misconceptions about spiritual warriors, and how does feeling disqualified affect our ability to embrace this role?
  2. Pastor Ben discussed how God has the power to overcome flaws, just as He did in the life of David.
What flaws or giants in your life do you need God's help to overcome?
  3. Read 2 Samuel 23:8-23 This passage recounts the mighty deeds of flawed men who served a flawed King, illustrating that God does mighty things through broken people. Can you think of a time when God used your brokenness to accomplish something mighty in your life or the lives of others?
  4. Pastor Ben encouraged the audience to embrace their scars, point to their brokenness, and share their stories as a testament to Jesus' power. What are the roles of scars and stories in demonstrating the healing and redemption offered by Jesus? What is a scar or story from your own life that you could share to encourage others in their faith journey?
  5. Pastor Ben urged listeners to reflect on their own mighty men and women, who are often broken people that persevere through hardships and rely on Jesus. How can we recognize and value the mighty men and women in our own lives?
