1. Jesse described the church in Laodicea as 'lukewarm', not fully committed to Jesus but not completely walking away either. What do you think makes lukewarm faith so dangerous compared to outright rejection of faith?

2. In Hebrews 12:11, we read: 'No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.' How does this verse change the way you think about hard seasons or painful consequences in your life?

3. Jesse said, 'Partial obedience is disobedience.' What do you think he means by that, and why is it so easy to follow Jesus in some areas of life while keeping the door shut in others?

4. Jesse talked about zeal; a burning, urgent passion for Jesus that leads to action. He said zeal looks like saying 'I need to do something about this now.' What's the difference between genuine zeal and just an emotional high that fades after a weekend service?
